Blog Post and Video of the Week: When I first laid eyes on Lisa Eldridge’s blog post I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was dedicated to 100 Years of Bollywood Beauties. This post was soon followed up by a makeup tutorial that was inspired by Aishwarya Rai’s makeup in the movie Devdas (2002). Devdas is by far my favourite Bollywood movie and I cannot wait to recreate Lisa's look. If you have not seen Devdas or Lisa's tutorial I strongly suggest that you do.

Blog Post of the Week: The blog post of this week is not dedicated to a post, but to a blog that has captivated me.  The Man Repeller by Leandra Medine is a must read for women everywhere. She's witty, intelligent and has some serious style that I envy. Leandra is a woman who dresses for herself, her clothes might repel men, but they win the hearts of her readers. Let's all embrace our man repelling ways.

Video of the Week: Video of the week goes to the gorgeous Amelia Liana from Liana Beauty. Since Amelia began making videos I have been absolutely addicted to her YouTube channel. And after watching her Autumn Overhaul I have been feeling inspired to switch up my skincare, makeup and hair care for the colder months. I have definitely added many of the products mentioned to my wish list. Thank you Amelia, you have made the transition to autumn/winter easier for me.

Blog Post of the Week: I found The Sunday Girl’s blog post on Taking the Mystery Out of Skin Care Ingredients extremely helpful. I am no expert on cosmetic ingredients and Adrienne has taken the time to break down all she has learnt from skincare specialist and scientists in simple words that anybody can understand. Thanks Adrienne. I now know about the specific benefits I can gain from the different ingredients used in products.

Video of the Week: A round of applause goes to Mary Greenwell’s Masterclass: Sweetness and Light for GetTheGlossTV. With autumn fast approaching I am on the hunt for effortless ways to update my look. The look that Mary has created is luminous, young and playful, a good substitute to the classic dark autumn/winter hues. This is definitely one to recreate.

Blog Post of the Week: Hats off to Nouvelle Daily for their awakening health related posts. I found them to be rather informative especially as I’m on a bit of a health kick. Video of the Week: As usual I’ve been addicted to YouTube. As soon as I snuggle up between the sheets I find myself browsing my YouTube subscription list. One sleepless night I found one of my favourite beauty mavens, ThePersianbabe had uploaded a video on how to create a Wearable Green Smokey Eye Makeup Look. Who knew a green smokey eye could look so beautiful? I will definitely be recreating this, thanks Barbara.
